I realize that by saying this they're probably going to combine for like 3 goals tonight but man Tampa's bottom-6 forwards are atrocious.

Really not crazy about splitting up McCabe and Tanev, especially against a team like Tampa who has arguably the most loaded up top line in the league. But I do get this is more of a temporary thing and brought on by Myers needing to sit after his game on Saturday.

Not really holding my breath but I guess there's at least a slim possibility Hakanpaa and Jarnkrok (and Stolarz and Tavares) are all back post-break next month.

I don't think anyone out there has any firm time line for him. He's been skating a little bit recently so at least that's something. Berube said this about him last week:

Because of the waivers issues he wouldn't get called up until the day of or maybe before a game he's starting. But yeah I wouldn't be shocked if back to back AHL shutouts gets him the next non-Woll start. Maybe the Columbus game.

I really wonder how many of his 89 hits this season have just been this. The home town score keeper must absolutely love him since he's somehow first in the league in hits per minutes.

The Lorentz-Kampf-Dewar line have a 59.42% CF and 60.35 xGF%. Lorentz and Kampf without Dewar are at 44.96 CF and 43.65 xGF%. Yeah the sample size isn't particularly large and the offence isn't there but the 4th line with Dewar has been the only one to really control play with any consistency...

Edmonton really, really, really likes ex-Leafs.

Holmberg to me is like the perfect 13th forward. Can get plugged into literally anywhere in the line-up as an injury replacement and can play competently enough for a handful of games but long-term he's just not a regular NHLer.

If it's anything like what "day-to-day" means to the Leafs we should get him back sometime before 2025 ends. But actually I would guess that means anywhere from 2-4 weeks. The four nations break is about 3.5 weeks away. I doubt we see him before then, and if that's the case he'd miss 10 games...

Well Domi's best stretch of play this season was when he was with Nylander, so maybe this get can get the both of them going again.
