You have to figure that whatever Matthews has either isn't a surgical fix or is one that takes him out long term. What I don't understand is why we are playing him like he is healthy down the stretch. Matthews is fighting the puck...don't have him on the ice for 3+ minutes straight

Can't do anything with the extra attacker. PK wasn't good. PP wasn't good. The big guns fail to score. We are playoff ready If Marc Savard is the one telling them to soft dump the puck into the corner while the forward start from a standstill (they have done it all year)....it's the reason...

This is just a frustrating game. They came out aggressive and once again are letting their opponent dictate the game. There is no urgency from their play. Some low quality shotd and a couple of decent ones but we sucked at both the PP and PK They deserve to be losing and I'm getting tired...

I don't need them to win this game. I just need them to play well. No team is going 16-0 in the playoffs. You can lose to good teams, but this has to be a statement game where they deserve to come away with points (even if they don't)

Back from a road trip so first game home can sometimes be a let-down game but the team has also had some rest after an extended stretch of games. This isn't a must-win game but its a game they probably need to win. They need to take 2 of 3 from Florida if they want a shot at the division.
