?Starter Elvis Merzlikins was placed on the IR about a week ago with an illness and was originally expected to miss about a week. So there's a chance he could be in net for Columbus here

I really thought this team had sleeper potential before the season. Injuries have hit them kinda hard recently but even before that they were pretty bad.

At what point do we finally acknowledge that Jarmo isn't a good GM.  He's been in Columbus since 2013.  They have made the playoffs in 5 of 10 completed seasons (about to be 5 of 11). One of those years was the bubble season where they probably don't make the playoffs in an 82 game season (but still eliminated the Leafs anyway).  They have that one bizarre year where they swept Tampa but otherwise have a 14-26 record in postseason games.

I know Columbus has small market issues with attracting free agents but they spend more time at the bottom of the standings than they do the top.  Eleven years is a long time without a whole lot of success.

Brad just found out that Ryan Reaves has an older brother.  He has been signed because twins have to be better than one.
