Preview from Marlies.ca:

-The Marlies and Bulldogs split the two previous games, with the home team taking the victory
-Kenny Ryan leads the Marlies with a pair of tallies against Hamilton this season, while both Jake Gardiner and Mike Kostka have a goal and an assist
-Louis Leblanc may be leading the Bulldogs in scoring against Toronto this season (2 goals), but Hamilton?s bleu, blanc et rouge have lost the forward for 4-6 weeks after sustaining a high ankle sprain against the Marlies on Saturday
-Returning to action is Toronto?s rear guard Paul Ranger, who has missed four of the five games played
-Shots have almost been equal between the two clubs, with the Marlies edging the Bulldogs slightly 46-41
-Toronto?s powerplay is 1/13 against Hamilton while their penalty kill is 10/11

Some line-up notes from play-by-play man Jon Abbott:

Expected changes 4 #Marlies vs bulldogs: Holzer and Blacker likely out with flu, Ranger back in. D'amigo in, Scott out and Scrivens starts

The game will not be broadcasted on TV, but you can likely catch a stream from AHL Live here: http://atdhenet.tv/52557/watch-toronto-marlies-vs-hamilton-bulldogs

Go Marlies Go!!

I'm almost at the point where if the NHL does have a season this year, I may not even watch, sick and tired of the greedy owners and players.

The AHL provides hockey, and well it might not be the superstars, they tend to bring it every night as they are either playing for a pay cheque and to get a new contract to stay in the league, or to make the NHL. Same with the CHL leagues, screw the NHL this season!

Go Marlies Go and Go Wheat Kings/Leafs prospects Go

Does anyone have a stream feed that doesn't require I download Ilivid?

I worry about its propensity to carry spyware, adware, etc. comments?

The link I posted at the top is working, not sure if it wasn't before:

McKegg with a PP goal and it's tied again. I questioned whether he would make an impact in the AHL this early on with the Marlies depth, but it's nice to see him getting some prime playing time.

Marlies score with .4 seconds left in the 3rd to go up by a goal, but the refs call it off because of a Toronto penalty. Tough break. No replay of it so it's tough to know exactly what happened.

SCORES! The Marlies win it in overtime on the Yeo goal. Great effort by the Marlies to kill off the 4-on-3 before finally winning it.

Marlies keep the puck in the Bulldogs zone for well over a minute and Gysbers score off a one-timer from Aucoin. Big 2 points to start this road trip.

Gysbers? The horrible local Hamilton broadcaster said Yeo :o

Yeah it was definitely Gysbers with the goal.

Only caught the 3rd and OT, but I thought Colborne looked good, and confident with the puck.

I only started watching from late in the second but that was probably the best I've seen of him so far this season. He reminds me a lot of Antropov with how he uses his size to hold onto the puck. Both are sort of gentle giants too.

Marlies v Abbotsford is on right now: http://www.atdhenet.tv/52558/watch-toronto-marlies-vs-abbotsford-heat

Thanks for the post. I should be able to tune into the second before bed. How'd the first look?

Anyone know if anymore Marlies games will be
televised next week?

None of the games on this road trip will be televised. The next two home games will be on Sportsnet One and then RogersTV. But that's not until the 17th and 18th. It'll likely be that way all season, home games get broadcasted but not away games.

You can still watch the games as AHL Live has them all and the online community has been very good at getting streams for those. They aren't great though. The video is usually just the feed from the home teams jumbotron and the audio is synced from the radio broadcast. It's better than nothing though.

Marlies had 3 PP's and couldn't convert.  Was kind of a 'meh' period for both teams - although I thought Kadri looked good whenever he had the puck.  Gardiner almost seems to overthink it when he's on the point, on the PP especially, holding onto it a bit too long.  Still looks poised though.
