Keith Aucoin is now Maple Leafs and not with the Capitals anymore. Played so long there I tough it was a given. My bad

Should be good for the Marlies.  His last 4 AHL seasons:

43 GP, 70 pts

He appears to be just that.

Some guys just don't get fair shakes though.  He has 37 points in 102 career NHL games and is a +7.  That's a big addition to the Marlies.  They haven't had one of those top AHL players on their roster.

That and the fact he's a 5'9", 187 lbs centre. He's had a couple extended looks in the NHL, and brought some production, but not enough else to his game to earn a full time spot.

I hadn't even checked his size. He's the AHL version of Justin Azevedo.

That's where the Leafs can flex their muscles, by giving a player like this money in the AHL.

I wonder if they will try him between Lupul and Kessel too at camp, not only Kadri, JVR, Colborne. Aucoin is the underdog in this race, I wish he could translate his A success to the big league.
