Busta Reims said:Between his injuries and the improved depth in the organization, he just didn't have a future as a Leaf. Not sure Deschamps does either, but, certainly doesn't hurt to give a guy a fresh start in a new organization to see if he can take the ball and run with it.

Deschamps being drafted by Burke is probably a factor too, must have some personal makeup that I'd assume Burke likes.
