CarltonTheBear said:I was a big fan of this guy and followed his progress while he was still a prospect. Always had a feeling that he was unlikely to come over. I can't see Burke bringing him over. The line-up is too cluttered for him to think he has a solid chance at cracking the team. And for a guy his age I don't think he'd be too thrilled about having to hone his stills in the AHL.

Also with regards to the lineup being cluttered, even if he does make the team, there is no way he is signed to a deal paying him the same money as a KHL contract, it makes zero sense for an unknown commodity.
HELSINKI, Finland -- If Leo Komarov has his way, he'll be wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs sweater in the fall.
The 25-year-old Finnish forward finally feels ready to make the jump to the NHL and hopes a deal can be worked out to make it happen once he finishes playing for the host country at the IIHF World Hockey Championship.
"I hope so -- as fast as possible," said Komarov. "If they need me and they give me a good contract then I will go over there."
Bender said:Sounds like he really wants to come over! There's no way he'd accept a 2-way though.
