a) generate some offense out of the bottom 6 while not getting caved in
b) get their defense to play defense
c) get some consistently average goaltending

then the big 4 forwards can slump until Christmas and they can go .500 until 2024 for all I care.

We know the big 4 will get their points sooner or later, but if they can't get ABC sorted then they're screwed come April.

I hate repeating myself but been an issue for how long? None of these areas were addressed properly and that being because Dubas didn't leave any room for filling out the roster and now Treliving is stuck trying to fix it and in all honesty can't unless a major move is made. If the stars aren't producing we are hooped. What really has me concerned is with all the draft picks Dubas threw away things don't look promising for this team down the road. Buffalo, Detroit, Montreal are going to be looking down at the Leafs in the standings down the road. That comes with sucking for years but sad part with the Leafs is this core hasn't gotten it done and should have been dissected long ago. What really is mind boggling is how our 3rd and 4th lines have been horrible last couple years yet a young player like Robertson can't crack the lineup. Should have never signed Domi and promoted Nick or someone else and let them grow. I know he's had his oppurtunities and hasn't produced but I would sooner kept him and some other young guys rather than some of the guys we've signed. You're absolutely right though the 3 areas you mentioned are a concern. How are we the favourites to win the cup I really don't understand?

Not intentional but it was a clean elbow to the back of the guy?s head and the ref saw it from behind, so it?s an understandable call even if it?s hilarious.
