Poni definitely became a citizen. Some people on the board at various points said Antro did as well but I could never find any confirmation.

His biography on Eliteprospects.com mentions it, as does his Wikipedia page. A couple articles collected here from 2005 where he states his plans to become a Canadian citizen.
