The thing with this team is we never know, they could come out and like contenders or lay and egg in any game, so who knows...lol

Every year I say "this year is different". Sometimes I say that in August....sometimes in November.....sometimes February. This year I promised myself NOT to say those words.

But I did.... during the last several games of the regular season in April. I said "THIS YEAR IS DIFFERENT"!!!

Leafs are not the team that will blow this. They may lose a game here and there and they can lose a lot of games to better teams (like the Cats).... but they are better than Ottawa and their systems are currently humming. Leafs played well enuff to close Game 4 and they can do it tonight too!

The Marlies washed out, so they're calling up a lot of bodies to train around the NHL team and take in the games/atmosphere to get them ready for future drives.

Hirvonen and Niemela will be watching Tyler Kleven in NHL playoff action, who was drafted with Toronto's original pick that Dubas traded down to acquire the picks for the two Finns.

Steeves-Kampf/Holmberg-Robertson

Basically, it looks like only one of Domi/Robertson can play at a time or the line is too small. Holmberg is maybe a better passer. Kampf is maybe a better face off guy and pk person.

Holmberg isn't a better passer then Domi or Robertson. Domi is currently leading the team in FO% at 59%. Domi and Robertson together have given up 3, (1HD) scoring chances at 5v5. They've only given up 6 shots, 1 goal for, 1 against.
I def wouldn't be opposed to trying Steeves but I'd throw him on L2.
