Game Notes
NYR
-Igor Shesterkin will likely start for the Rangers
-Vincent Trocheck was hurt in New York's 2nd game of the season and will continue to miss some time as the team placed him on LTIR yesterday. He started the season in the middle of New York's top line alongside Panarin and Lafreniere
TOR
-Anthony Stolarz will likely start for the Leafs
-No news from the Leafs after the team had a day off on Wednesday. Expect the same line-up from Tuesday's win against Nashville

I think their top-6 forwards are decent with Trocheck there.

The bottom-6 forwards though, my god. I don't know if any of them would crack the Leafs line-up.

That's what I was thinking; they're capped out and most of their contracts look okay individually (maybe side eye Shesterkin), but they've collected a lot of blah and there isn't much in the pipeline after.

I don't know who 5 of their defensemen are.

Presumably the one you know is Fox obviously. Gavrikov is a pretty underrated D who was a beast with the Kings the past couple years. Basically a better McCabe. Schneider is a good young physical defenceman who I know some wanted the Leafs to pick in the 2020 draft. The others... yeah I don't know much about them other than that 2 are just call-ups for injured D right now.
