I'm like a genuine Holmberg-hater at this point but even I'm surprised by this. Still think he's a perfectly fine 13th forward who can plug and play anywhere when injuries hit. He just has has no business being a regular forward.

For 3 years I would have expected more of a lower cap hit. He's a fine player. Nice guy. Too nice of a guy maybe. Wish he remembers what some of his idols like Tucker and Roberts played like in playoffs next time. There might be a reason Florida let him go if he doesn't.

Yeah. I found that odd, too. Clearly, they don’t want to go to arbitration with him. Dreger says they’re still talking, so, maybe he’ll be back. Not a huge loss if he’s gone, but still.
