    Oh, I know, but, it's still curious. If they were part of the Carlo deal, it would have impacted the acquisition cost. If they just go straight to Pittsburgh, the Leafs might actually be getting something (minor, but something) back.

    Not a surprise. I like Minten, but his ceiling is a good 3rd line C. Would have been nice to keep him, but not the most upsetting piece to give up. Most important thing is that Carlo is not a rental, either. Giving up good prospects for longer term pieces is just business.
