Leafs have been messing with Robertson for years. Why stop now?
I think there's zero loyalty either way, so they should part ways. If he has a decent year, he'll probably walk unless the Leafs overpay him.

This is player-elected arbitration. Leafs didn't even low ball him that much on this case, which are usually lower than what teams have actually slid across the negotiation table to try to bring the arbitration award amount down.

I mean when negotiating outside of arbitration, the offers are usually higher than what Teams put forward for the hearings to anchor the rulings.
