Kinda want Florida to win then losing won't hurt so bad....lol

Three of the last 4 teams who have beaten the Leafs in the Stanley Cup playoffs have gone to the final in the same year, so this wouldn't be out of the ordinary. lol.

Boston 2019, Montreal 2021 and Tampa in 2022 all went to the finals (but none of them won the cup).

Panthers playing rope a dope counter punching game. Carolina looks good but not really great looks. Currently tied 2-2.

Always a good time when you fall asleep in the 3rd period and wake up to see the game still going on in the 3rd overtime.

I didn't notice until I read it here, but the Panthers do flip the puck out of their zone a lot and it seems to be working for them.

They flip it out all the time. They try and stand you up at the line and if that doesn't work they keep you to the outside and you don't get great looks and they hammer you on your retrievals. They really don't care that much about possession compared to teams like the Leafs. They look for opportunities, try not to gas themselves out at a track meet and hope to find some openings. It's a really good strategy for them.

Glad I didn't try and stay awake for that, but I saw the first two OT periods and despite no goals it was still entertaining. I'm going to watch this series because I want to see how the Panthers do against Carolina and also if Carolina can finally get over the hump/how Freddy does. Even though traditionally it's not that interesting I do find myself having interest in this one.
