I will be at this game tonight cheering for Toronto in my Leafs jersey & hat!  I'm super excited, it will be my first Leafs game, and NHL game, ever!  I hope the boys in blue & white can put on a good show for me!  ;D

While it may not be an optimal lineup, neither was Montreal's, and the Flames have that Kiprusoff guy.  He's good or something.

You know, a few weeks a go I said "guaranteed win night" and nailed it... I said I'd retire with a 1-0 record and I'll live up to it. However, if someone wanted to proclaim the same thing tonight, I wouldn't argue.  ;)

The term "must-win" probably gets thrown around a lot, but considering the Leafs recent slump, the team that they are playing, and the standings situation, this is pretty darn close.
 
That Roman Horak is something else isn't he? I mean even with all their injuries he still makes it as the 3rd line center over the great Matt Stajan, pretty impressive.

Well I'll be pissed if they don't win...so it's definitely a must-win to keep me from getting pissed off.  Drop 4 straight when you're on the bubble...come on especially after that Winnipeg loss.  The experts here have excuses ready to go for the better teams but if we can't win 50% against other fringe teams we're in trouble.

One thing this team had going for it over previous years is no prolonged bleed-outs.  A 7-8+ game flop now and it's over, just like it was after last November and the October (ugh) before that.  They will have only succeeded in stringing us along for a few more months if they fall apart now.
