I'm sitting in the situation where I'm caught up to Season 7 and she is just in Season 4.  She wants to hold off until she is caught up.  I'm probably ok with it because I like the idea of watching more than one at a time.

Same, although since it's only 6, we're going to wait for the whole series to wrap up before we start. I'm spoiled by the Netflix binge.

My wife decided to start watching Game of Thrones two weeks ago. We just made it to mid season 2 -_-

I?m not waiting
 
There's about 8-10 of us watching at a friend's house. We've got a pool going on who lives and dies, who turns into a wight, and bonus points for who (if) kills the Night King and who holds the iron throne.

I put in two entries, one with everyone marked dead. I think I've got a good shot.

What is up with everyone's wives not being up to speed with the show? If there's one thing they had it was ample time!

Somehow I think Melisandre factors in to killing the Night King. I think she plays a vital role in the "fire" portion of song of fire and ice and used some bizarro fire magic and dies as a redemption arc.

I kind of wonder what Bran's gonna do also. He's got powers now, can all he do Warg? If so who cares?

At the risk of being banned from any future comicons, I must admit that I fast-forwarded through a lot of the Bran heavy segments.
 
That was a bit of a set up episode. All quite predictable, almost to a fault, especially the Cersei stuff, which, to me, seems kind of unfortunate. Let's see where it goes I guess...
