Love it. $4.38 for a third line centre or second line winger, which is what I think he'll eventually be, is fair.
Also this was probably a coincidence but insane props to the Leafs for announcing this minutes before the NHL/NHLPA press conference on the new CBA deal. Way to steal the spotlight.

With this done, if you assume Knies get $8mil (between Johnston and Peterka) and Jarnkrok and Kampf get moved once their bonuses are dealt the team looks somewhat sorta like (obviously lines can change):
