Marlies Game Day...

I thought one thread for all Marlies games would be okay? Or, if you guys feel like it, they can certainly be split-off...

Anyway, nothing of substance to add but I thought tonight's D parings were kind of funny;

Fraser-Holzer | Ranger-Blacker | Yeo-Gysbers

:o

Just judging from the pairings from preseason, I think it's safe to assume we'll see a top-6 of Fraser-Holzer, Gardiner-Kostka, Ranger-Blacker. Good news for Ranger.

In case anybody missed it, you can listen here: http://www.funny820.com/. Just tuned in myself.

I think televised games might warrant their own threads, but we can see how it goes.

The final score was actually 2-0 as the empty netter from Mark Fraser was disallowed.

Go figure, the goal was waved off because a Marlies player was ruled offside. Anyone who followed the Calder Cup playoffs, particularly Game 3 against Norfolk in the final, will take exception to the call!

Oh, the mild levels of irony!
