For some reason I have been rooting for Dallas the last few years, not sure why. They got a tough matchup with Vegas in the first round. I want to see Dallas win this, but it will be tough. I will pick Dallas in 7 (heart not head?).

Good to see Mark Stone's second consecutive miraculous recovery in time for Game 1 of the playoffs.

If the Leafs did that they would have to forfeit five first round picks for cap shenanigans.
The Leafs circumvent by burying mistakes... Murray and Klingberg visiting "Robidais Island". VGK just does it better by burying good players that they actually want to utilize in the playoffs.

Neither of those players are fit to play an NHL game right now.  I don't see the correlation.

I guess I am skeptical about how some of our most awful contracts end up on the LTIR. Murray played 3 games in the AHL recently. Klingberg had been managing his hip for some time before opting for surgery.
